Hidden danger zone on 07 F150?!

Typically at the quarter wash i wash the inside of the wheel wells, underside, etc quite well to get built up mud/dirt out. Today I was washing my truck by hand at home, and i was pushin the hose with narrow straight nozzle all around under the rear. And, i ended up findin a lil hole i didnt know was there that separates the wheel well you can see with a dark secret dirt filled rust breeding ground above the wheel well i always wash!

When i pushed the hose up there, dirt brown water came out over crevices i never thought to check. Anyone else ever noticed this on theirs? Anything you can do to ease access to this areas that wont compound the amount of dirt that gets up there?

I hate dirt roads...hate em.

Any pics? I'd like to check out the spot you're speaking of. If not, where do I find this hole?

From ground up shot, see the gap between the wheel well in bed and body panel, above the inner wheel above tire....this is where i pushed the hose through on jet.

Just location to start...

Im sure the mud just whips up underneath there....btw, anyone have any good methods of coating these areas? Something to help protect from rock chips and stuff, like inner wheel well. Could use bedliner, but I have heard sometimes that CAUSES rust?
