Leather care
I am getting a new truck soon. On order. Its a F150 Lariat Screw. I want to know how to take care of the leather seats. It will be parked outside so I also want something that will also help with the uv rays. Any help will be appreciated.

Not much to it on the newer trucks, just wipe them down with a damp clothe to clean the seats. Most newer vehicles have leather trimmed seats with the majority of the seat being vinyl and what leather there is on the seats has a coating over it to protect it so a conditioner or cleaner won't do any good. I detailed the interior of my dads 08 Tahoe LTZ and all I did was wipe the seats down with a damp clothe. If you are worried about fading just tint the windows and use a windshield screen.

UV rays, you are much closer than me, but I just replaced my seat cushion cover on my '06, and aside from it looks new, the color matches ( black interior ).
The coating is for protecting the leather as well as UV.
If baking it long term out side is still a concern, take a look at a set of Cee Bailey's sunshades.
They make some items for vehicles, but primarily are a plane equipment manufacture, so the shades they make are made to sit outside for years at a time.
These are made to fit the F-150 windshield and side windows and hold in place ( none of that flip down the visor BS ).
Very nice I had a set for my '01 and now my '06.
They cost more than the junk you will find at Autozone, but they nice. Exact fit for your window shapes without any mounting hardware.

For conditioning- Conolly Hyde cream (from Europe)....about $15 a jar (which last for years) & is sold a leather conditioner for harley, Volvo, Maserati, Ferarri, Porsche, etc. Like all conditioners, keep it away from the stiching because it will attract dirt (because it is absorbed) causing the threads to fail due to the dirt rubbing against the threads themselves. this is a very concentrated cream like product.....a little goes a long way and lasts!!!

Try to prevent the sunlight don't contact directly to you seats when you are not driving because they can harm to your leather seats.Try to use sun blocker on you windshield and windows mirrors. Try to open a little bit of windows in summer because they moderate the heat in your car. Buy a leather protection lotion from any auto store.
