Chrome plastic cleaning, care?

What do you all use on the plastic chrome grills? wheels? etc.......

Don't want to cause any damage getting the bugs off

WD-40 will remove bugs....
A dryer softener sheet dampened with water will remove bugs
A towel soaked in hot water and laid on the "bug"area will remove bugs.

The secret is to re-hydrate their little dried up exo-skeletons so they will wipe away.

AGREED. Excellent Advice! I usually use a wet towel.

Then I would apply a quality LSP product to aid in appearance and future removal.

Seafoam Bugs B Gone works real well on bugs, rewaxing is required after use.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, looks like I'll be paying more attention to having "hot" soapy water for my washes
