Exclamation Help

The other day I had stopped at a Walmart to get a few groceries and I had come out to my drivers side door handle covered in super glue! Whomever did it also used the damn glue so excessively that it also ran down my drivers door. Anyone have any tips or ideas on how to remove it with out damaging or removing the paint.

Super Glue can be removed with finger nail polish remover which is also Acetone. Just don't know what acetone might do to the paint/clearcoat.

Good thought, but Acetone can lead to softening and / or crazing of the clearcoat. Unfortunately, either way the paint and the door handle may be permanently damaged.

If you can get under it with a plastic razor blade you may just be able peal it off if it has not bonded to cleat coat.

I tried goo gone and too no avail, and it is definitely adhered to the clear coat so I might try a little nail polish remover next
