What spray on product.....

can I use on like my "ice cube trays" (between the hood and windshield) and the plastic steps on my step bars, and rear bumpers ?

Now, I mean, to just spray on a light, even coat, and be done.... As trying to wipe excess product back off (or out) of these areas is anywhere from a PITA to just flat out impossible.....

Suggestions please.
Something I could buy locally would be great..... but I might order it online if I have to (and if it's that great for my purposes)

Peace,
Fish

Buy a gallon jug of Meg's Hyper Dressing and dilute it 1:1 for gloss, down to 1:4 for a matte finish. I have 1:1 for exterior and 1:3 satin for inside. Have had the jug for 1.5 years. The stuff last a long time for the average user. Saves s crap load of $$ too since you don't spend $8+ on tire sludge grease every couple of months. And you have to wipe it on and off, but it's simple and a small step ladder let's you get the center of the cowl, but I painted mine anyways so I don't put in on the outside except my lower mirrors and any exposed plastic

Don't put anything on the pads on your step bars, it will make them slippery.

There is no product out there that will meet your requirements, sorry. Since you seem pretty firm on a spray on product, you will not get something that will not have any overspray. Most especially if you go all the way to the edges so that it appears like you did a decent job. There are many aerosol products out there that work great and the overspray removes super easy, but nothing that meets your standards.

I would just remove the wiper cowl and paint it this way you won't have to mess with dressing it and wiping down into all those ( ice cube ) areas, just don't paint the rubber ends like i did or they'll crack and look terrible. The steps I'd prob use Megs HD as mentioned, diluted to your preference and wipe them down real good, they will still be somewhat slippery though.

303 Aerospace Protectant or just plain "ICE" liquid wax either one works well for me, but like others said .... nothing is "spray and forget" like. Mine sits in a covered carport most of the time and my cowl hasn't needed anything extra.

before (wiper arms have been sprayed already)

after (cowl + arms have been sprayed)
and yes there is streaks from the nozzles, i made sure the wiper blades were positioned correctly

Plasti-dip FTW (only used one can for the arms and cowl, which have about 4 layers on them)

Here's one for pad applications..... http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-auto-trim-sealant.html

You'll also need a cleaner before using this.....

Or your bedrails for that matter...I used Adams Vrt on mine, was standing on top of the bedrail loading a bed and slipped off, landed on my side..wound up tearing a tendon in my wrist..keeping a clean vehicle can be hazardous to your health!!

In & Out Spray by Adam's. Best stuff I've found, or there SVRT (which repels water)
