You aren't trying to clay in the direct sun on a hot finish, are you?

Oh definitely not ! In fact, my truck was totally cool, after sitting in the garage all night.

But come to think about it, when I had that bad experience with clay the time before, even though it was getting toward evening, and the car was finally shaded, it had been in the sun all day and was probably still hot....

This tells me, your car should be totally cold, and shaded for a clay job..... and this will make it "possible" although still not exactly easy.... at least with removing paint over spray.

And again, my over spray might have actually been "Bulldawg" over spray, which is probably even worse !

It's freaking sweet and glassy now though

Peace,
Fish

You could wash it, don't bother to dry it, then clay it.
