Finally some warm weather

Well after 6 months of below freezing temps, 4 feet of snow (still have 2 feet on the ground) and a long sweet winter it warmed up enough yesterday so I could clay bar my entire truck and wax most of it.

Using mothers clay bar kit and NXT 2.0 syn wax.

Finishing today and then going to polish the chrome up quiet a bit then slap a coat of wax on to protect it.

Today in the Chicago area, we had a nice 80 degree day for once. Spent four hours polishing the chrome (wheels, bumpers, and steps.) I have different steps that you. Mine have chrome, then rubber, then chrome, and so on all the down the line. Almost impossible to keep clean. Also, very difficult to hand polish. The road salt really took it's toll, but got everything cleaned up. Now, outside to enjoy a fine cigar. Got some Ashton Virgin Sun Growns.

I don't bother with my running boards as I drive gravel roads a lot and even with the big ford mud flaps they still take a beating. But surprising they look decent. Probably getting Nfabs soon.
