Cleaning engine compartment???

Hello everybody!! I have a new truck and I want to keep it looking new. I am somewhat new to knowing which products to use when detailing a truck. I have decided to use Mothers on everything but I don't know what to use in the engine compartment or behind the wheels on the suspension. Can anybody tell me what they use to keep the engine compartment clean and looking new? Also I like to keep my tires and wheels looking good but what about the suspension behind them. What do you guys use on that?

Pictures would be nice too if anybody has them. Thanks!!

My way is similar to roushstage 2 and I took a few hints from Adam's videos as well.

1. Slightly warm the engine, 1/4-1/2 of full operation temp. Then turn off.
2. Lightly hose down the engine bay to knock the top layer of dirt/dust off
3. Dilute some Simple Green and cover the whole engine bay in that stuff, you can't use too much.
4. Close the hood and let sit for 5 minutes.
5. Turn the engine back on and begin to lightly hose everything off
6. Let engine heat burn up all the water or use a leaf blower to blow it off

Optional (Boars hair brush for hard grime and sometimes if it is bad, I will repeat the process again)
