My aluminum Hood, corrosion, bubbling the paint up

My aluminum Hood, corrosion, bubbling the paint up

My 2003 F150, the paint is bubbling up on the front lip, and under the hood.
Possible defect in mfg?
How do you deal with corrosion on an aluminum hood?
(body shop or get a new hood?)
I live in NH, does salt affect aluminum?
Anyone else with an aluminum hood and corrosion?
How did you deal with it?

Any pros/cons for getting a steel hood?
Anyone know if stock hood pistons/supports on my truck
would be okay if I got a steel hood?

The carriage is steel, the hood skin is aluminum. Aluminum and steel don't play well togeteher. Somehow the carriage will lose it's protective coating which then puts it in direct contact with the aluminum skin. Thus resulting in bubbles on the hood, like this:





I was looking at reflexxion hoods but ended up going this route:
