The catch might be jammed, so try pushing the blade assembly away from the truck first, then squeeze the tab and pull the blade back down towards the truck. You can tilt the blade assembly back a ways to give you better access to the clip.
If you can squeeze the clip, the blade assembly should come off. Just keep at it. It could just have a bit of junk in there jamming it a bit.
