Unhappy

There have been LOTS of posts on this subject - everything from rubbing alcohol to Mother's "Back to Black," but as far as I'm concerened, nothing seems to work. Looks OK for a few days, then right back to the white streaks.

Question

How about peanut butter?!?

Dang...I hope something works...otherwise, I'll never wax my truck again!

Has anybody had success permanently removing wax from body trim?

Do some waxes come off better than others? I use McGuires.

I have used several kinds of tire black products. They all work well but the secret is using a toothbrush to apply it and working it into the trim. At least it works for me.

I had the local carwash take a look at my overwax (lots of it), to see what they could do. They sprayed some product on it called "Trim Care" or something like that. It looks PERFECT. Well, seeing as they said I couldn't buy it myself, I tried what I did have -- Back to Black. Guess what? PERFECT!! Seven days later and you'd never guess I had any white streaks underneath. Loving it.
