i didint notice any change in hp or gas mileage at all. the only reason i bought it was that since its reusable, it pays for itself.

Cool

I noticed an improvement with the airaid fipk on my truck. It has the K&N filter on it. Not sure if it would dyno any better but the seat of my pant can tell. I can tell that it doesn't require as much peddle to stay at highway speeds. As far as gas milage I haven't had it on long enough to tell.

I haven't noticed any improvement. Probably will work in conjunction with exhaust modifications.

I'm planning on putting on new headers this spring. Hopefully, I'll see improvements then.

Thumbs up

I have to agree with Dithdoc. I have found that I have better throttle response, and it doesn't require as much petal to stay at highway speeds. My mileage has not increased a whole lot, was getting 15.2mpg and now I am getting 16.6mpg. I have the 5.4L.

Cool

K&N filter = only a few HP; FIPK = +12HP depending on engine; neither do much for mileage over a clean factory filter. Personal results = all mods get 1mpg more occasionally, exhaust and intake mods are only fully utilized mid to top throttle/rpms.
