Question Paint sealant removal

Is it possible? Would using a clay bar and then a 3 step wax process take it off?The reason I want to know is that my truck is black and I want to put some of the turtle wax black color majic on it to hide some of the swirls and scratches. I *think* I remember being told not to use wax on the sealant(dealer installed option). So I want to remove it if possible. thanks in advance

Cool

Most sealants use a compatible remover. A Toyota I own uses "the special cleaner/protector", and I removed it with the remover. It was black and it worked fine. Good luck !!

I spoke with the dealer today about wax and the paint sealant.I was told that its been long enough(since march)from when the sealant was put on that I can wax till my arms fall off. They probably will, these trucks are big.It gets the Meguairs # step tomorrow

Cool

I'm sure they know best, as well as what kind was used. My Toyota sealant was warranted for 3yrs, did not diminished at all in over 2yrs (garaged), and beaded up like day one. The remover made it bare w/no beading anywhere.
