where do you get your regular maintenance done?

I get a great deal at this place close to my house. The guy there can handle most maintenance, and keeps a close eye on the schedule...although sometimes my truck is a hundred miles or so overdue by the time he gets the oil changed. His shop isn't as nice as he wants, but there's usually cold beverages available, and sometimes my friends are there at the same time. His wife is pretty cool about me hanging out there too...
Where is this place? right outside the kitchen door, on my driveway.

My credentials? Yeah, they're right over there....

Amen, OnBelay. I only do my own routine maintenance. I previously used an oil change outfit in San Antonio, and twice (yes, TWICE!) in a row, I got the vehicle back with the old oil filter still installed. Luckily, I was able to tell the difference, which most drivers are not going to be able to do.
Sure, they said, "Oh we're so sorry! Bring it back in and we'll fix you right up." But, I do my own now and, in fact, it is my wife who insists that we never bring our vehicles into a shop.
I don't trust them, and when I do it myself, it is done right.
