Red face Double Sided Tape Removal

I had a set of wind blasters mounted on my 98 F150 with double sided tape. Anyhow, someone decided to steal them. Now I have the double sided tape still around windows. What is the best way to remove tape? Is there a chemical solution anybody can recommend?

A citrus based product like Goo Gone will work well without harming the finish.

Thumbs up

Mr.Big...take some "NAIL POLISH REMOVER" and mix a 50/50 solution with warm water.

This should make you up a batch of my secret potion...don't laugh, this stuff works great and deos not harm the finish on paints, clearcoats or metals.

Try it...you will like how this sh-t works!

Great stuff for tar, tree sap and overspray removal.

It is a Paint and body shop secret....just don't tell anyone.

Let us know how it goes!

I used WD-40 to get some off that had been on for a while. Worked like a champ!!

Cool

WD-40 removes many adhesives. Clean thoroughly and rewax area ASAP. Good Luck !!
