Thumbs up Follow-up

So my latest set-up is trico tech beam blades and aquapel glass treatment. Was gonna go with neoforms again but decided to try trico's brand new blade that just came out (they're cheaper too...about $11). I like the side mount because it lets the arm sit slightly lower than on the others. They're super-beefy too...feel really strong. I'll keep you posted for sure since the weather in Wisconsin stinks.

That's the same type I got, also from wal-mart but I don't have any problems with mine..maybe yours are defective? Do both blades do that or just one?

Those wal-mart a**holes love receipts, I always keep mine because you can't return something without one. Does it have a defect that you can see or feel? Maybe it would work right if you clean it with glass cleaner.

Just put a set of the bosches on and love them. Cheaper than the neoforms and from a more reputable manufacturer.

Trico is just as reputable as Bosch - when I was in the business 40 years ago Trico and Anco were the only wiper blade OEM's for domestic cars.

PIAA silicon are great and going for a great price ($20+ pr) at Napa. SilBlade color swipes are no good (they chatter and squeal), but their black version is a good product - and expensive ($40+ pr) - should get 5 years on either product. Silblade has a 5-year warranty. One needs to wipe the swipe occasionally to remove debris, and do not use alcohol based window wash with silicon blades.

I hate that chatter and squeal, along with that also comes skip. I've been using Michelins for several months now with no issues, paid about $40 at Wal-Mart. Do the PIAA's have the 5 year warranty, or is that just for the 2 SilBlades? I'm going to see how far these Michelins get me, they work great so far.
