General Maintaince for Off Roader?

General Maintaince for Off Roader?
I have a new '00 truck and want to keep it in great condition so it will last forever. But, I do a lot of Off-Roadin'. I'm seeking maintance tips from you guys. How often should I repack bearings, add gease, etc... Do I have to worry about water and dirt getting in the diferential? I've worked on cars before but never had to worry about an off roader.

Herculiner, Tighten torsion bar 1" and add a leaf rear. WMS velocity tube
