Post tonneau cover

What is the best cleaner/protectant for the
soft factory tonneau cover? The manual says
not to use a silicone based cleaner if I
remember correctly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cool

I just use regular soap and water to clean
mine it has been on my truck for about 2 years now and it still looks new. my dad had
a 74 lincoln continental it had the half
vinyl top on it he used regular soap on it
and it looked good for about 12 years and
he started putting armour all on it and it
come apart in about a year. armour all is
great on tires but thats about all i use it on! also i had a 87 chevy pickup i put a soft
tonneu on and used armour all on it and with in a year and a half it come apart. i like
armour all but it does have its limits and i
would not use it on a tonneue cover from my past experience with it! i do use armour all
on one more thing besides tires when i raise
my hood i spray it on the black plastic parts
around the engine compartment it makes every
thing clean and repels dust and dirt and makes it look new.

Question

I can only say that I have been using Meguiars protectant and it seems to work nice. I had a tonneau cover I used to Armor All. After it rained all you saw was Armor All streaks down my paint. That tire wax stuff Meguiars and Turtle wax make seems like it might look good. It's not supposed to come off.
