X2!
I made the mistake of doing my polishing a couple of weeks ago and with a black truck it's a mess right now outside and will continue to be so for at least the next 10.

The problem is that right now it's so bad that it's pointless to do anything because before I can dry one panel the previous panel has new coat of pollen dust on it. If you wash and don't dry here come the water spots which means another polishing. If you dry it you have waisted your time since it will look the same in 30 minutes like you never did anything.

I learned my lesson. Next year I will just hose it off until the pollen is finished and then polish all those water spots away.

No way man. You won't even get half way done with a panel before it's covered up again.

Best way is with M205 and a DA with a polishing pad, after claying it.

It's suppose to rain tonight, so is it okay to wash the truck after the rain? Or just fully wait until pollen goes away? Also, can someone give me a list of things I should look into for a nice full beginner detail for exterior AND interior?

Well, I was able to get the detail done....it was a slow process, but I'm glad it's over. I actually did it last Friday and by gawd.....the pollen is almost gone. It figures....but I'll be back at it in 3-4 months.

It just rained, can I detail the truck now? Or wait still?

Bump..... Haven't seen any yet, but I expect it to start falling any day now. Last year was probably the worst I've seen since living in NC.

Last year was terrible here also.

It's started some already but not horrible yet. Just a light misting but nothing a good wipe with a microfiber can't fix since I got a wax in before it started

It's already pretty bad here in GA. The rain today is helping but the truck is going to stay a yellowish white for the next month or so.
