Cleaning Chrome around shifter?

Cleaning Chrome around shifter?
Have any of you guys cleaned the chrome trim around the console shifter? If so what did you use mine is always dirty looking and I've wiped it down w/ a MF but it still is dirty after a day or two later??

I've used window cleaner and paper towels on my dads and it comes out pretty clean. Can't really say how long it stays clean though.

X 2! It's just a plastic piece, so nothing to worry about too much. It's gonna get dirty from everyday use.
