xzilon

Can anyone tell me how long does it take for dealer to install xzilon? The dealer seemed to have it done in about a hour, making me wonder if it was really installed? For how much it cost that sure is quick. Thanks

If that's another one of the famous dealer installed paint / fabric / rust protection deals, yea, that's about all it takes. That should also give you clue as to how much it's actually worth. All of that stuff is nothing more than "dealer profit in a bottle installed by the lowest paid guy in the shop." Sorry to hear they suckered you in .

Agreed, but you can apply spray paint over K-Y Jelly and it won't stick either! (Not to mention it's a hell of a lot cheaper.)

Getting back to your original post, let me tell you a story. I had a fairly regular detailing customer who got talked into one of those magical coatings at a well known chain once best known for rust proofing. They said their product (Diamond Gloss) was so good that he "wouldn't even have to wash his car anymore." So, he didn't wash it for over a year. Guess who's back as a regular customer, but out a big chunk of change for a worthless product.

The only good thig I can say is that in this case, you don't get what you paid for - so there is an exception to the rule.

I never heard of this product, but I do know the dealers always push for thier "most awesome in the world" protective product/sealer/wax/rust proofing like everyone else is bringin up. The only way the truck or car you buy is if its YOU taking care of it, washing, waxing, sealing it yourself. I know it takes alot of time in some peoples lives but you will be happier.

Or pay a pro that knows what he's doing to do it for you.
