detailed my engine for the first time, with 134k miles on it, got a coil wet on my old truck, ever since then i have not cleaned my engine

before (from 2 years ago, has just gotten worse)

That's impressive..nice job. What did you use?..I do basic things to mine like armorall on the hoses and some basic cleanin but I'd like it to look like that

 

i used meguiars all purpose cleaner plus diluted 4:1 and meguiars hyper dressing

just sprayed everthing avoiding the coils and ecu, then hosed it off, then after is all dried it still looked almost just as bad, sprayed the hp on and thats all it took

 

Looks good last time i sprayed mine i had to coils go out, so ive stayed away from that

 

Phil, I found that Meg's natural shine gives a similar look of hyperdressing. I would try that. I started using it on my tires and it is not as greasy as the tire blackeners. It's not quiet as glossy, but will be my first choice until I get a hold of HD... I'll show you what I mean when you visit

 

Engine looks real good. I did mine about 2 weeks ago, came out pretty good. I used the gas powered leaf blower to blow out the cops'. My neighbors were lookin at me like I came out of a mental instituition.
