How much for a Custom Detail???

How much would you pay for a custom detail??? I have never got one done to any of my vehicles, but want to get this done on my truck to remove swirl marks and a few random scratches. I was recommended to go to one detailer in my area, and he said he would charge $215 for a wash, buff, and wax. Is that a good price and will just doing that get the swirls and other scratches out of my truck?

He referred me to the guy that gave me a price quote...

RollingRock says no one would pay what he would charge to do a detail, lol.

Whether that is a good price or not is all dependant on the quality of the work.

Anytime you let someone polish your vehicle you should discuss your expectations with them before getting a quote. A single step polish job will likely not completely remove all of the defects in your paint, so you should find out exactly what he is going to be doing.

If RR refered you to him, I have no doubt he does quality work.
