Clay Kit

Is the Turtle Wax Clay Kit any good? I saw it at Wal-Mart and bought it.

I would avoid those kits with the tiny bars all together and just get the original Clay Magic bar only, #CM2100. 100 gram for $11.44. Unless you're detailing for a living, buy a couple, you'll be set for quite awhile. Buy a bottle of ONR, mix 2 oz. to a gallon of water, and you have a whole lot of clay lube.

The Megs and Mothers clay kits are fine. Clay Magic holds the patent on clay bars anyway, it's the same stuff. Good point on the ONR, that would be the only thing I would use as a lube other than a QD spray.

If you buy a 100 gram bar, you will want to tear it apart anyway.

The reason I would say to avoid those "kits" is because they are not cost effective at all. Especially when you consider the size of our trucks. If you add the possibility of doing other family members vehicles, etc. its a no-brainer, ime.

Optimum No Rinse... great product You can dilute it for rinseless washing, clay lube or quick detailer depending on ratio.

You are talking about Optimum No Rinse Wash from Optimum Polymer Technologies?

It's alright. Buy each of us a gallon and I think we can let it slide.

I will set it up to arrive in the mail in 5 weeks on April 31st. That's the best I can do.
