Used a UDM for first time today...

I bought a UDM off Ebay and got to use it today. Love it. It's amazing how many defects you notice in your paint after you actually know how to look for them. I took care of most but have some more stubborn ones that I need some 105 for. I used the new SwirlX and 205 today. The SwirlX was used with a LC CCS white pad and the 205 with a Megs 2.0 yellow. The wifes van is next but I need the 105 before I tackle that nightmare.

I don't care much for the LC pads. I was much better with the Megs pad. I'm going to sell those and get something else. I have a black, blue, and two whites. Black, blue and one white are still unopened. The used white one I used today with SwirlX and then cleaned it with Pinnacle pad cleaner and dishwashing detergent. Then sprayed with Pinnacle prep. It still looks new. I'll put them in the classified if anyone is interested.

Here's a couple pics.

I'm with you, I've always preferred the megs pads over the lakes just for the simplicity.

Truck looks great by the way

Isn't a UDM just a PC7424?

I wish I could take them off your hands but they are too big.
I use 4" and 5.5 with the G110.
Im sure you will have no problem getting rid of them.

If i'm not mistaken, it has more power than the 7424. Not much more, but noticeable. But I don't have any experience with them, just regurgitating what i've read.

The new ones are. I bought this one on Ebay and it's the older 4.2 amp model.
