Yes. HD has silicones. It is *not* body shop safe.

Just because something is water-based doesn't mean it can't have silicones in it.

Just like glc mentioned... just because it's water-based doesn't mean that it is silicone-free.

In the automotive care world, if a product is silicone free, it'll list it because it'll either say just that (Silicone Free) or it'll say Body Shop Safe. (silicones inhibit the bonding of paint on metal)...

BTW, nearly all dressing products have silicones...
