Detailing Withdrawal

Who would have thunk....

I wrecked by truck about a week ago and it went into the shop this past Friday. So I've been unable to do any detailing to it for a few days. I'm starting to get the shakes from detail withdrawals! All those fine products just sitting on the garage shelf not being used. I find myself wandering up and down the auto parts store isles looking at products. It helps a little but I still get the shakes now and again.

I suppose to be getting the truck back on 2/19 and I'm sure it will need a _complete_ detailing when it arrives.

Plus it will have 4 new nice looking tires!

You can come detail the Roush if you want. I'll even let you use all of my stuff so you don't have to bring anything except yourself. By the time you get out here, detail it, and get back home, you're truck will be ready again.

No need, I'll bring my own stuff. I have plenty of dishwashing soap, old bath towels, some brillo pads and some old Turtle wax. What time should I come over?

Saturday and today the weather was in the 70's and I just got a new G110 last week so...I worked 8 hours on the hood, headlights and upper sides Saturday and today I spent 8 hours on my ARE bed cap and roof.

First time I used a DA.
Black is a hard color to work with.
I read so much between here and Meguriars website I was ready.
Suppose to be upper 70's again tomorrow so maybe I will work on my rims.
I smell a picture post coming soon.

Im a semi retired photographer and I prefer film over digital so along with my first detail it was my first serious attempt at taking surface detail photos so I have to make the switch from film to digital in a day or so.

I will expect and look forward to critical opinions.
