Exclamation Plastic wax

So my dad waxed my truck as a suprise for an upcomming event, and he used a power buffer.

Well the buffer slung Wax all over my Plastic running boards, i can't figure out how to get it off.

Is there a chemical that will get the dried wax off without discoloring, or hurting the ABS Plastic?

Or a Magic Clean Eraser. Those work good also.

Mothers Back to Black. It's total crap as far as making black stuff black again, but it does a pretty good job of removing dried wax.

Griot's makes a dried wax remover, works pretty well, I have used it plenty of times.

Meguiar's APC+ is safe and very effective. If you do not have that product in your arsenal already, you should get it. It's amazing.

Creamy Peanut Butter... works everytime. no joke. It also restores the plastic and makes it look brand new.

Could you substitute crunchy peanut butter for a diminishing abrasive polish to remove swirls? They make extra crunchy peanut butter as well. Compound?

All jokes aside, I have heard that works.

You can save yourself the trouble of getting the peanut butter off and just use peanut oil. The actual oil is what removes it.

the grit in the peanut butter helps I think though.. if you just use a little at a time then it will just wipe off.... like wax. Works perfect.... and its like a dollar.

If it's creamy, there's no "grit?" LOL, don't want to argue or anything over peanut butter, just saying. It is the oil though.
