I currently have 1 layer of NXT 2.0 on my truck that ws applied 2 weeks ago. Searching thru my junk of detailing stuff, I found a bottle of Zaino Z2. What do you guys think If I topped the NXT with Z2? Are they compatible? Bad idea?

Well, if you listen to Sal at Zaino, they're not compatible. I've used both products on various vehicles and in my experience, NXT - even the NXT 2.0 - doesn't hold up nearly as long as Zaino Z2. So, should you try it? Well, it can't hurt, but I'm just not sure it will work if Sal is correct.

In my experience with Z2, I would say that it would be a waste of time. The Z2 won't really "bond" to the NXT, so you won't get the usual Zaino durability. Topping Z2 with another wax can yield good results, but topping another wax with Z2 is a waste.

I never felt comfortable about using multiple waxes as is.
