Merino Wool Mitt

I need something to clean my truck while I wait for my order from ADS. Does any one know if the sheep skin mitt with merino wool from Wally World is ok to use one time? After reading so many threads on detailing I am scared to use anything that has not been recommended.

As long as it is a real wool mitt, then it should be fine for a limited application mitt. Actually, I used one before I bought the better recommended ones.

The Wallyworld wool mits are actually quite decent. The ones at Big Lots have to be picked through, the quality is very variable.

The SM Arnold 85-340 has been recommended here as one of the better mitts. I ordered some at autodetailingsolutions.com.

The 85-340 is a much nicer mitt, IMO, than the Eurow mitt available at WallyWorld. In a pinch, the Eurow will work but, I think you'll note the significant difference when you hold one by the other...

The Big Lots mitts are branded Turtle Wax, but they look exactly like the Eurows at Wallymart. Note again that the quality is very variable, you need to hand pick through them for the plushest.

Are they real sheepskin? Most all of the TW mitts that I've ever handled were synthetic fiber?

Yeah, they're real. Says right on the tag "Genuine Sheepskin" and one of mine split a seam in the washing machine. They aren't all one piece. Gotta be more careful with them I guess. Still, not a bad deal for 4 bucks.
