I detailed my truck sunday, and finished with NXT 2.0 tech wax. I wanna put another coat of NXT on sometime this week, and top with a caranuba. Searched and coudn't find it even though I know i've seen it on here before. So, how long should I let the 2nd coat of NXT cure before I put on the caranuba?

btw, its DC step 3 if it matters. anyone compared this to the A line caranuba meguiars offers?

Letting it sit for 24 hours before applying again would be more than enough time for it to cure. I believe I've read somewhere that it takes fewer hours than that but a full day would definitely be enough.

 

24 is good, but you'll be ok doing it at 12 hrs. It'll be cured by then.

 

So do you just wipe it down with some quick detailer before the second coat to get off any dust?
