Smile Your Personal Preferences....Detailing.

So, I know how to buff with a orbital and by hand. That’s about all. Just wondering what kind of actual buffer can I buy that is user friendly and does a good job with corrections. I’ve seen the G100 (?) by Megs, which looks pretty good.
Secondly, What is a good "kit" for waxing the car with a good buffer (G100 for example). Waxes, Polishes, Cleaners, Clay, and Scratch Removal and any other things you can think of. Just wondering what all you guys use for your personal preference. Thanks For the Help

M23 is Odor Eliminator..... if you mean M26 (which is Hi-tech Yellow Wax) then yes. The Carneuba wax is always AFTER your sealant.

Also, in your process, if you are referring to the "Polish" as a pure polish (like Deep Crystal Step 2 or #7) then the process is correct.

I'm still experimenting with different things. I'm also limited to a 7424 right now. That said, contrary to popular belief, I've had very good results with Menzerna SIP and Menzerna 106FF. It's been said that those products don't work to well with a DA. I've experienced the opposite. So, as it stands right now, this is my list.

Wash (Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II)
Clay (Any mild clay and lube)
Polish/correction (Menzerna Super Intensive Polish/106FF/both)
Glaze [optional](Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze, not all glazes are good to apply before waxes.)
Wax (Chemical Guys 5050, followed with Optimum Car Wax)
Final Wipedown (Either Megs #34 or Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer)

I have so much new stuff and different combination to try that this could easily change, but for now, this would be my method.

Jolly,

Have you tried HD 4:1 on your interior? If so, how do you compare it to M40?

Never tried it on the interior. I like the #40 for protecting and cleaning and the IQD for touch ups and dusting. So never messed with looking at other stuff. Kinda if it aint broke type thing.
