That is sweet! I clayed the GF's 06 Oxford white tri coat Mountaineer on Labor day and havent had time to wax it yet. Hopefully I'll have time tomarrow, I'm going to try out the NXT 2.0 and hope to get close to the same results

The NXT 2.0 is awesome. It leaves nice small beads all across my truck. I haven't had a chance to test durability yet because I usually wax my truck every week or two, but come winter I will see how it holds up.

You know you really should not clay a car and not follow it up with wax afterwards. When you clay, it removes all the wax you have on your car and leaves it completely vulnerable to anything from weather to tree sap. (Clay provides no protection) While not having wax on for a week won't make your paint peel, but it definitely is not something that is good for the paint. Make sure to wash good and try to clay again just to remove any contaminants that have fallen on the unprotected paint over the past week. Good Luck.

You worry too much. All he needs to do is wash and dry it and hit it with some QD before waxing with NXT 2.0, it has some light polishing and filling agents. How many vehicles are out there that never get any wax at all? How many people simply wash and wax their vehicles with Turtle Wax and have never even HEARD of detailing clay?
