Do you all do anything special to get the rig ready for snow?

I am planning on a full detail at the end of October for both vehicles topped with Collinite 845 for the winter. Other than that not much planned.

Collinite 845 is supposed to have about six to nine months of durability. And where I live we have about eight and half months of winter so I am going to try it and see what happens.

Do one last full detail before the temperature drops down to the 60s, synthetic wax, and spray it down whenever i get the chance to remove salt.

Preferable way to go.* Helluva protectant wax.* I don't have any right now so I'll be using #16 before winter sets in.* Of course We don't get "tons" of snow.* Just lots of ice off the mountains.
