After 106FF and 50/50 wipedown. FYI, that is not a scratch but rather the reflection from a power line going from the house to a pole.

Final result:

If I had more time and I knew the chance of it getting traded in within the next week or so wasn't so good I would have followed the 106FF with Menzerna's Micro Polish on a black CCS and topped everything off with #16. I wasn't going to go through the effort of #16 just to see the it get traded in right away.

Good job. How do you like Optimum Car Wax? I just got a bottle a few weeks ago and it is one of my favorites. I use it after every wash. What size pads did you use?

I like OCW a lot. It has to be the easiest thing to apply and since there isn't anything to remove it's that much better. It seems to provide a decent amount of protection, although not as long as some of your typical paste waxes, but I think that's to be expected. I too use it after every wash as well as my wheels on occasion. I just received my gallon of it last week from Scott at Specialty Motoring. I use 6.5" pads. Though I really need to get a set of 4" pads. While I get by fine with the 6.5" pads, there's just some spots that can't be easily, if at all, done with them. Four inch pads would be great for above door handles, pillars, around certain emblems, and just corners where it is physically impossible to get a 6.5" pad.
