Okay... here's what I operate out of:

My mobile detailing 'shop'. Equipped with the Megs Trunk Organizer, NXT cooler, boxes of stuff, styrofoam cooler for towels/pads/etc, and a footlocker for the rest. Also equipped with a D/A (obviously)

Stealth--

If you can pay a poor student just a little bit of coin, I'd be more than happy to work on the truck.

PM me if you want or email me at navyguy@swbell.net

I'm cheap. Really.

Would be funny if you had a alarm right when you finished! Good work looks good. That is a pretty clean brush truck though, and I like the first and last part of your plan of attack.

Well, it wouldn't even be an entire truck, since I'm waiting for some parts to come back from my bud who's painting them. I'm afraid that the parts (Hood, fender, front and rear bumper covers) will look better than the rest of the truck. It needs a good detail for sure. I'm sure you know exactly how to remedy that.

I've been using the SO1O system since it hit the market... I *LOVE* it. #86 is a fantastic product on a rotary.... I especially love the light cut wool pads (yellow wool)... it's really a great setup, IMO.

Thank you, Sir!

Wheels, wells, and tires weren't done simply because I was exhausted and didnt want to loose *that* much $. The station has solvent based tire dressing that we use, so they can do that later if they want...I think it got done before we went to fight fire Sat...

Not worth the time for it IMO... Besides-- it was about 2876238465928765275 degrees outside with 5000% humidity...

Of course I do! let me know where and when...

RP-- Thanks for the kudos bud!

BlackHawaiian08-- I was actually hoping we would-- then we could show off our pretty trucks... but the next day we got to go to live fire training where our engine looked better than a brand new one next to it (well, the paint did...)

Sorry to hijack.....

I was really looking over my truck's black paint today. It's pretty micro marred, spiderwebbed (trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about ). I wish I had known of the two bucket technique sooner. :o

I'll have to wait until I put the stuff on first.

The marring I can fix...

Put the stuff on??? You talking about the parts? I've made older paint blend pretty nicely with fresh paint before a few times, so this isnt completely unreal to do... Just takes a bit of patience....
