omg help

i waxed my truck the other day, and guess what, i got wax on the plastic! how do i get it off!?!?! its so tacky!!!

Try using a pencil eraser, it works pretty well. You could also put a trim dressing on if you want to make your plastic to look better. Next time tape off your plastics with painters tape and it will save you the hassle of trying to get rid of the wax on the trim.

If it stays discolored you can try Black Wow. I have used it and liked the results.

get some gr-40 trim cleaner it will remove all traces of wax and residue build-up works great i got it from www.topoftheline.com

hah that sucks..that happened to me actually like 30 mins ago i got wax on the door handles..i went to autozone and got "back to black" like 6 bucks..did the job.

Back to Black is garbage - but it will remove wax residue, you may need to scrub it in some with an old toothbrush if it's textured plastic.

thats the only thing they had there...i actually asked for black wow and they looked at me like i was a retard..cause they have never heard of it..so they gave me that..it took it off..but i had to scrub with a towel.

I don't think Black Wow is available in the usual retail supply joints, it needs to be ordered online from specialty vendors.

Back to Black sucks, I hate it, cant believe I wasted my money on it.

I'm soon gonna order a Black WOW kit.

Does Black Wow stay applied and looking good in rain and during washing. I know water based products run off immediatley after coming in contact with water.

What you can also try if your trim is very faded is Show Room New Restore. Not many people seem to try it. I have a bottle and a little goes a long way and it works really well because it actually re-dyes your plastic.
