Quick Wash/Semi Detail (56k Warning)

Okay so i never really got much into detailing heavily but i do love washing my truck.

I'm open to any suggestions, or comments. Trying to get more into this scene. I used Meguiar's Car wash and a meguiars wax on the paint. i touched up in some spots with the scratch remover, made it shine like crazy.

anyway, any suggestions from the greats on here would be appreciated. let me know where i can improve!

Where in TX are you? We have a pretty good representation here in the DFW area, and I think there is a good # of people in Houston... Just curious.

Looks great, BTW!

Looks good!

If your looking at improving, I would say clean the windsheild. But your paint looks great now just finish it up.

And the only thing I can tell you to help you improve would be read the sticky at the top of this forum. We do use some lingo that might confuse you at first but if you read the stickys the posts will become more clear. And other then that if you read those sticky's the amount you will learn from that alone is amazing.

I'm not great but by judging your first pic you may want to wash and dress your wheel wells

Truck looks good, red usually does when done right. Don't forget the little things though such as windows and wheel wells, they make all the difference in the end.

haha i did the windows after the pictures. i probably should have waited to take the pictures. i dressed the wheel wells about a month ago and it didnt really seem like a big deal to me so its not a regular thing i do. our driveway doesnt help it makes the tires/wheel wells dirty.

and that silverado is my stepdads.

i love that truck lol

im located in beaumont which is about an hour and a half from houston

i have a question about the wax i use...

every time i give my truck a good coat of wax i get these little bubbles. almost like water dripped and wet the wax then dried up.

its hard to explain but i always have to re wash my truck.

i have trees in my yard so its a possibility that its sap...i just want it to stop doing this. any ideas?
