F-150 Logo
A very common problem with these trucks. The black paint came out of my fender emblems at fewer than 1500 miles, and the truck has only been hand washed. Unfortunately for me, my 3/36 warranty just ran out so I'll be doing this repair on my dime......:o
Or, you could just acetone them... Just a thought. If the paint ever starts coming off of mine, I would do that. Or maybe order the custom ones with wolves... someone on F150online has them-- they look freaking SWEET.

I just ordered black/chrome Ford logos for the front and the tailgate. I previously bought the steering wheel logo, F150 side logos and the rim logos. Very fast service, no complaints!

I think the paint on all of my Fords has been great. Orange peel? Sure, but we all know why it's there. It's not because they can't paint, either. The badges have always had a problem. I'm not sure if there was just a really LARGE batch of bad emblems that are still been used or if even the new ones have the same problem. Anyways, go see the dealer if you're under warranty. Acetone them if you want them all chrome. Paint them if you want. Order billet badges. Order decals from Patriot Decals. All are viable options.

It's a quality issue...
You'll find this on nearly every manufacturer's factory paint in some way/shape/form. It's caused by the paint (be it the color or clear) sagging prior to curing.
The last Ford GT that I looked at had it worse than my truck... very disappointing for a quarter-million dollar car...

so do they replace the whole badge at the dealership, or just they letters that are coming off?
if i was to ask them to replace them, i would probably have to remove my edge programmer just to get these replaced. with my luck they would look in the window and say haha. nice badges jackass, now leave.
