How's she look?

Started washing yesterday, spent all morning and afternoon detailing the engine bay, claying the front end and waxing, and re-vamping the interior, which required me and a scrub brush to get physical on the front seats to remove 10 years worth of gunk on the vinyl seats and doors.

Wow, that signature needs to be resized geoelpalillo. The forum requires a 500x100 maximum signature size now. 800x600 is just ridiculous ...

Looks great Raptor!

I love that interior... I have the same steering wheel cover (gotta love WallyHell), similar mats, etc.... I just wish I had 2 captains chairs so I could do a cop console...

I bet you love the vinyl floors... I know I do!

dude, same here! thats one mod I would do in a heartbeat! i wish i had an oem armrest, i hate the one i have. cop console wouldn't be bad, I'm looking to get a police/EMS scanner as a second hobby. alsready have an aircraft radio as a backup and is fun listening to around major cities and have a CB for highway traffic. would be nice to be able to tuck that all away neatly.

as for the floors, i love being able to dump water and take a scrub brush to them!

yeah.... as a FF, having a siren/switchbox/etc in one nice place would be a welcome mod...

As a sidenote-- if you do get a PD/FD/EMS scanner, here are some tips for you:
Show up at scenes (keep your distance, dont get caught following fire trucks... stay out of the way) and take TONS of pics-- you can get your pics on the news, sometimes they pay for them. Also, many local cops/FF's/EMT's will buy pics from you if you have good ones of them. I just sold 8 pics to a FF in an adjacent city who's wife likes to scrapbook-- I was the only one at that (HUGE) housefire, so my pics ended up on the news. They didnt pay me, but they got my name out, and thatsent people my way. Now I have at least one FD that wants me to show up when I can to big stuff to snap photos... Although I am not a certified pro photographer, people have dubbed me Photograper 32 (ie: Station 32's Photograper)... I guess a good pic is worth money these days...

Also-- learn the 10-codes. And learn what each FD's tone sounds like-- it seems to impress people when you can say what the dispatcher is ABOUT to say... It also means you can get a lead on the FD trucks... FYI...

While I would LOVE to dump water on my floors, I have wiring for my amp, 6 strobes (about to be 8), plus some other stuff running under the floor, so I choose to play it safe... but I never hesitate to dump a couple of tablespoons of SG on there to scrub away... Try that with carpet!
