preventing worn leather

Is there anything I can do to prevent the leather on my driver seat from wearing out and cracking. I know they make lots of leather products out there but do they prevent cracking?

Make sure you keep it clean and condition it. Don't over clean and condition it though. Also make sure you lift your butt up and not slide your butt off and out of the vehicle. That's the main problem with SUVs and trucks.

Well my truck is only 3 years old. No cracking or anything yet. I guess I'll start cleanign the leather more often. I have only been wiping it with those armor all leather wipes in the tube abotu once every couple weeks. Maybe I should go get some quality leather cleaner.

I would, I just bought the Meguiars Leather Cleaner/Conditioner in a gallon. I really like it. There are much better products out on the market but for the money I couldn't resist. I don't ever let my leather get that dirty so it was an easy choice to buy this for myself.

Properly protecting the leather will help prevent it from cracking. I always suggest Leather Masters products.
