and a quick ? how do you get rattlesnake blood out of the bedliner? i've scrubbed it with just about everything i can think of (water and a paper towel, washing it, pretty much most basic stuff) and thought about power washing it. haha

Truck looks good! And I would not know how to go about getting rattlesnake blood out of a bedliner. I would try some simple green and not dilute it. Then probably have to scrub it with a nylon brush or something along those lines. Wait is it a bed rug? or is it a spray in or plastic liner?

Sunny pics outside show your real talent. I'm not trying to sound mean but the florescent lights just don't show how well you have really done.

From the pics it does look good though.

Halogens and flourescent may not be perfect, but IMO, they offer a VERY good idea. You typically get a VERY good idea with halogens especially.

What is NOT as impressive are the shade shots (if viewing technique)... I sometimes take them to hide some of the CRAP on paint (ie: Mom's XTERRA-- it has etching through the color, so I cant even touch it... thus shade shots are a necessity); however, the shade shows the viewer what the gloss/depth look like...

Ifind that in order to show how good of a detailer you are, you must show that you can remove imperfections (thus the sun/halogen shot), then show the depth/gloss (thus the shade shot and the in the sun but not looking into it shot), then the engine bay shot, then the wheel wells/frame, then any particular shots that make a statement about your work (ie: If you used Plast-X, fixed a horrid problem, interior, etc)

Just my 2 cents...

I think the OP did a fine job, remember its WHITE, even in direct sun with white its hard to photo defects...

Lets give him the benefit of the doubt and say...."nice job"

Cheers

JP

(My wife has a "snow" white paint color, I can see all the defects and even as a certified professional photographer I couldn't show it properly on "film" like you can with other darker colors)

I didn't mean that those pics were bad, just meant outside pics would look great with the work he did. I agree on the halogen light shots.

Thanks guys. I woulda taken some outside but it was dark and about to rain and didnt want to ruin it. haha i still gotta find a way to get the rattlesnake blood out tho. Simple green and everything else hasn't worked. I even tried brake cleaner while i was changing a tube for my bike. Anything other than power washing to try?

If it's a black liner, you may be able to use one of the restoration dyes.
