Decals and detailing

how do you handle decals like the FX4 sticker on the bed? should i tape over them or just avoid them?

i'm planning on replacing my decals with some flat black ones from patriot decals. should i remove the the OEM decals, polish, then apply the new ones? i wasn't sure how it would be to apply the decals over wax.

With the stock one I just don't hit with anything aggressive and then wax right over it. No problems.

But a flat black one will likely be a whole other animal.

Agreed. The Flat Black is probably going to be a lot more susceptible to scratches.
