Help my Inventory...
The weather's too crazy this time of year for me to throw my heart and soul into a full detail (soon though
), but over the past few weeks I've been trying to get a good inventory of products put together and eliminate bad products. From this list, can you help pinpoint obvious necessities I don't have? Also, what stuff is absolute junk and shouldn't be used?
I'm willing to spend $300 more to get the adequate hardware to address...
1) a DA plus whatever necessities I'll need for that (no clue)
2) Carpet Cleaner
3) Foam Gun
4) Additional Liquid/Paste Paint Products
Thanks for the help fella's!

foam gun is nice, but pricey.
as for a carpet cleaner well, you can do alot with some tuff stuff a brush and a vaccum with a hose.
as for tires all i do is use son of a gun spray it on thicck and dont wipe it off. Quick shot to touch up any runs and they come out looking like glass. you can do leather in one step with the meguiars rich leather stuff. works awesome on my wifes tiburon.
cleaning tires...soap and a good brush work wonders, you really dont need anything more than that.
pick what you like, doing detailing right is a matter of what you like.

1)Wash
2)Clay
3)#80 (1 to 2 passes)
4)#9
5)Two coats of NXT 2.0 (~12hrs apart)
6)#26
That's my projected routine for exterior (my main concern), I'm fairly confident from Thumper's posts that this should do me well... I think the G100 is something I should definitely look into, too

I'll just add that you will get lots of opinions on this topic and it has been discussed over and over....
My recommendation is to spend some time reading the Detail sticky and the Detail Dictionary, there are oodles of info about products in there.
Net is, there are lots of great products out there, for one person or 5 to tell you what its best is futile to say the least. It has been said here by the elders often, use what you know and if you experiment, make sure you note how you use each product and the outcomes. You'll find some bad products and some good ones in each product line. The best advice you will get here is to pick 1 or 2 lines and go with it until you are ready branch out...know those lines backwards and forwards.
Its late, I've had a few drinks and knocked out 50 miles in the wind on the bike today so this may not have made any sense.

I have some of the Hot Shine gel (came with the Walmart gift set) - it's actually not bad if you put it on with an Eagle One tire swipe and buff it down with an old MF. Otherwise it WILL run.
Use up your Armor All junk in the wheelwells.
The A-line QD is good for a clay lube.
