Help with Megs #2
Help with Megs #2
is it true that it should only be used with a rotary? I bought the #3 package from ADS and #2 comes with it. Since I'm new to detailing I don't want to use this stuff and take a chance at making the paint worse
That would've been a product that I would've switched out with ADS for something else but, it can be used with the DA.
Polishing pad on 4.5 to 5.
Procedure and technique is key on this, and just about every other, manufactured product. Work in small areas (2'x2' tops). Work slowly. If the product starts drying out before you feel like you've worked an area adequately, lightly mist with a bottle of water to add some additional moisture. Under no circumstance should you work the product until dry or while dry.
Several really like #2, I'd have to say that I'm not one of those folks. It's a bit too finicky and tends to dry out a tad too quickly in my opinion. While Meg's doesn't tout #2 as a 'go-to' product for the DA, it can be used (we used it on the G-100 when I was out there several years ago).

well since this will be my first time with a DA I will stay away from #2 for now. Atleast until I can get the hang of everything. Thanks Rock Pick...by the way i'm through the Louisville area all the time. Parents live in Columbus so I come through there on my way home. I'm at school at good ol' (lame) Murray State
