About to place my order.

Like it says I am about to place my order for some detailing supplies. I finally saved up for a DA and other things.

I am ordering my pads and PB stuff from SM

I think I am going with

1 PB EX-P
1 PB SSR1
1 PB PP
1 PB Black Hole
1 LC VC Green
2 LC VC White
1 LC VC Black
1 LC VC Blue
1 LC Flexible backing plate

Then I am getting my DA from Coastal tools
so

1 PC 7424 w/ free counter weight
http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/w...car_buffer.htm

Does this order sound good? Any modification you elders would recommend? Only reason that I didn't order from ADS was that its a lot easier to get Megs stuff down here and I wanted to try PB's.

Thanks for any advice.

Looks good to me....

Which pads are you getting from SM? CCS or VS?

Check the sizes on the site and make sure they work with the backing plate you are ordering.

Make sure you put your discount code in the check out

the code is: f150online

That is a good start to the world of OCD and PB products.

Scott just got back from Vacation so put your order in before noon CST and it will ship same day.

Whoops, just saw you were in CC. are you going to pick it up from Scott?

I am getting the 6.5" pads Variable contact with curved edges, well i think, can't decide between those or CCS. The backing plate is 6" so I think it will work.

I like the VC pads, you will need the larger counterweight, goodthinking there.

I recently bought a few sets of the CCS pads, tried them out, liked them enough to buy them. I just hate not having pads ready to go. Sometimes being lazy is expensive.

The CCS pads are a tad easier to control...just an FYI.

The VC's allow you to get to more places though...they both have their place.

Regardless, you make either work for your needs

No worries, you cannot go wrong with your choices.

My prediction is that once you use the products you get more.
