Getting ready for full truck detail

So today I'm going to raid O'Reillys and Autozone for supplies. I'll get essential items such as the Meg's Gold Wash, NTX 2.0 Wax, and a few MF towels. However, I have a quick question. Since I am on a budget, will this suffice until I can afford the $200 DAs?

It won't harm my paint in any way will it? The reason I'm asking is b/c I've had one of these years ago and used it on a gold car. If it made any swirls you couldn't see them. But now I have a black truck and swirls would be very noticeable...plus I love my truck. The gold car was a piece of poo.

The DA's are only $100 and come with a lifetime warranty. I highly recommend one, save up till you can afford it.

Is this along the lines of what you're talking about? If anything I'd like to get a decent one, nothing fancy or extravagent.
