ADS or autogeek DA package?

i know everyone supports ADS here, but autogeek has the 7424 in kit form. can someone look at this autogeek link and recommend a kit for a black truck with intermediate swirls?

Guess it comes down to what product line you want to try. Most people in here use Meg's stuff (ADS,) and there's a few who use primarily other products. AG has Pinnacle, Menzerna, Optimum, Wolfgang and PB's, maybe others. I personally like PB's stuff for swirls, but I have never used Megs #80 or #83 that many people here swear by.

Personally, I'd go with the #3 kit from Auto Detailing Solutions. I've had great luck with both companies though. It just comes down to personal product preference. I love most of the Meguiar line up and only venture out of it for a few products. I'm biased. :o

true. the only thing i've ever used is meg's. basically, what kills me is the fisher price looking G100. the 7424 looks a little stouter. i think some have said the build quality is better too.

There's no quality difference between the G100 and the PC7424. Actually I think it's easy to say the G100 is a much better deal because it comes with a lifetime warranty since it's a Meguiar product.

G100 is 7424

G110=Fisher Price looking machine.

I have had great experiences with ADS. Rick is a class act.

EDIT - Dang Thump you are fast. I should have said ^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said.

They're pretty much the same machine. My G100 is a 7336. I think older G100s had a different model number, could be wrong. Lifetime warranty is what made me go to ADS

Are you sure it's a 7336? Mine is a 7335. Weird.

Yup.. That's what I said. Pretty sure they're all exactly the same internally.. But I'm not about to take it apart and find out. Maybe mine got stamped differently. Haha

Same machine, different counterweight.

A big decision factor for me would be the lifetime warranty that the G-100 brings to the table. While one wouldn't expect for the machine to poop out, the 7424/7336/7335 will have a 90-day/1-year (labor/parts). Meguiar's warranty is covered by them - not Porter Cable. Obviously, they're not sitting in a back room in Irvine trying to diagnose why a G-100 isn't working; they're simply sending out a replacement.

Brushes in motors do go bad... electrical parts do go bad.... things do happen. The G-100, to me, is the obvious choice.

Atleast Meg's warranties arent like Dodge's. ADS for me. I think Rick should start giving me discounts since Ive lost track of how many orders Ive had from him. Hey, Im on a first name basis with the UPS man now. Brown can start having cheaper shipping, if they really wanna know. (sorry, lots of jumbled thoughts in here)

I know of at least 5 people off the top of my head that have either utilized the lifetime warranty or have had to replace a PC-branded device.

While it is rare, no electric motor will run forever.
