pad recommendations
Alright... you alll have talked me into it... i'm going to break down and buy the Porter Cable DA 7424. Well as far as products go i'm going to try the Zaino process. My question is, i was looking like on Specialty Motoring and have no clue about all the pads and when to use them or what to get.. i mean do i get the beginner kit? or order certain ones individually?

I myself am a Lake VC (variable contact) kind of person. The CCS's are also good as they have pockets for added cooling and product application.
I like the VC's b/c of the backing plate lip and the size of them.
if you are looking at Lake, they are in order from most cut to least:
Yellow
Orange
Green
White
Black
Blue
For using Zaino, sorry but I have no idea what to use for each.
My choices is to have 2 of each pad BTW...in some colors I have more.
Maybe others using Zaino with a DA will chime in.
