Menzerna products are interesting to me...i may have this totally wrong but i was under the assumption that these polishes were designed with foreign cars and/or cars with hard clear coat in mind...assuming you have a f150 of course i would say that there are less expensive options for you...but i have seen many cars with this polish and the shine and depth is very hard to beat...would someone correct me if i am wrong about this..i mean obviously you can use them on any clear if they are made to handle hard ones like mercedes and audi but is it overkill for a ford clear to handle correction?

First, I've found "some" of the Menzerna polishes to work fairly well with a PC. However, they work extremely well with a rotary buffer, and seem to work nearly as well with a Flex forced orbital buffer.

Next... Yes, some of the Menzerna polishes are made specifically for the very hard ceramic clear coat paints. With that in mind, those of you who might use these polishes on soft clear coats should keep this in mind, as these polishes can remove a considerable amount of paint... quickly. Initially, this will bring a smile to your face. But, with repeated usage by someone who doesn't understand the product and process, it can end up bringing an expensive "frown" to your face if the clear-coat layer gets compromised.

Of course, if you understand the products, and how the abrasives work, with a little care, you can use them safely.

Boss is correct, Ceramic and 2 Stage paints are VERY, VERY different.

Most domestic paints are 2 stage....some high end paints are cermaic.

Porsche's, Ferrari, Lambo, Rolls, etc are all ceramic's.

Ford....2 stage, however that said not all Menzerna's are made for ceramics. Good products if you ask me. They do tend to dust more....

...This is why I stick to the tried and true MEGUIARS!!!

Just kidding, I like a lot of products, but for this reason, I have not used Menzerna. I would trust Boss with it on my truck, but I would not trust that many more people with it...
